I got on Lyric today determined to quest like crazy (and hopefully finish up Yggdrasil). I definitely wanted to take advantage of the bonus xp and pull a level at least. It took most of the day, but she got her level. She's 99 now! :D (--Hee, so I was questing/grinding, and was just about to level, and QuotesPapa asked if anyone wanted to do ID90. Yes! Meee! So, we went and I leveled within a few fights. :D)

I did get all of her mercs (save her cannoneer) to at least 95. And I think her cannoneer went from 80 to 85. Nice progress today!

I finally got to the World Tree bosses--which I remember being uber hard when I fought them on Harmony, died several times with her I know. OMG I am almost disappointed. They were easy! All three of them! I was expecting their AOEs to knock me flat and at *least* take my mercs halfway down, but...nope. It was so little damage from those that my princess and prophet had everyone healed back to full health by the time it came up again.

On the crafting front, had to do sooooo many quest crafts today OMG. It's like every other quest in Yggdrasil! (Which is v. annoying since I only have my autocraft at 1 on Lyric, and don't intend to add more to it.) But my last one was to craft an Assassin's Bow, which, thankfully, I had my skill high enough to do already. Once I finished it and turned in my quest, I didn't want it or have any use for it, so I did an analysis on it. ...I got x5 xp. Go figure, when it doesn't matter, I get a high multiple. *shakes head*

Harmony now. She had 2mil workload left on her batch she's been working on for 2-3 days when I went to sign off tonight. So, me being impatient, I bought a couple 1mil xp books and booked it out. OMG +4s! Fifteen +4 Conquerer's Instruments!! I was hoping for a good plus on this batch, so I could try to beat my +7 Osiris Instrument, but woaaaah was so not expecting a plus *this* good. :D I ended up with a +7 by the end of it, and Lyric is now sporting one awesome weapon. :D

When I did Harmony's analysis (on a Dragon Slayer Instrument I had lying around--I'd already spent enough money today), I got x5 as well! o.O Pretty darn awesome. What did I do to get so lucky?

So I finally went and leveled her instrument skill (it's been needing it since before I started that batch). I was hoping to get it to Freezing, but it went all the way to 76! I can make Divine now! Woot!

Might try another batch of Conq. soon, or maybe a half batch of Freezing or so. I dunno. Something to get me to Depraved, as that is the one I want to get a good plus on eventually. Since it's going to be darn hard to beat that +7 Conq with anything else. But anyway.... Yay!

ETA: I looked it up. Garfiel was the reason I didn't like Ragnarok, but it looks like it's under new management now, so my hackles are officially down. And the few new people I've talked to seem nice, so. :) (I didn't keep up with him once he disbanded Solace. I'd heard a little bit of drama after the fact, but didn't worry about keeping my ear to the ground, once I'd read through everything that went down. I'm glad they got rid of him, at any rate.)

Firstly, happy new year! :D

Was home visiting with family and friends up until a few days ago, and didn't play any while I was gone. (No internet there.) But I came back with a determination to work on LyricKitten.

Bruser (my dad) and I have been doing ID90* daily, since Bruserbow and Lyric reached level 90. It's getting easier and easier, and Lyric can even solo in there...so long as she doesn't get 3 groups on her, lol. Bruser is wanting to start doing ID94 soon, but I'm still leery of being able to finish that one in time, especially since they could take out my poor long range mercs easy. (That's what I always hated about 94. Sooo hard when you first try them, and just aggravating when you can manage it easy soloing three groups and they spike your squishies.)

Decided to buy the Santa Outfit. Found a decent price (that wasn't 350mil or whatever it was at first) and decided to just get it instead of wasting more money on the item mall trying for it. I'll just have to get the Santa Hat later. For now, the temporary ones are still there so I'll worry about it some other time. (Or once they go away, lol. Depends on how much I wanna do the Santa thing really. Probably won't worry about it much until next year.)

LyricKitten is now level 97! Got there Saturday evening. I think I'm going to try and pull at least one level per weekend now. I can do it. It's not too hard to make sure she gets the kills, especially with her DoT** skill. And if I can manage a level during the week, even better! Finished up Volcano Vally (finally) and am now working my way through one of my favorite places, Yggdrasil.

I've been avoiding Santa Villa lately, which I know I'm going to regret a week or so from now when it goes away on the 11th. But it's just so monotonous and boring! Especially since Lyric gets no experience on the first two floors and can't manage on the third one. I don't know how anyone can do it more than the hour ticket. And two wipes me near completely out of stamina. >.< It's a blessing and a curse, cause I want the rewards, but can't stand the bordom of it to do it longer than an hour. (And sometimes not even then.) I've still been picking up my daily tickets for the mistletoe, so maybe I'll pull an all day thing in SV one of these days before it's over. (I wonder how much loot you could get with no stamina... HarmonyKitty has lots of stamina pills if need be, but I don't really want to use them all up in there.)

Lyric is finally starting to make some money! I've been buying Dragon boxes with Harmony's collection points and enchanting everything but weapons--which I am selling on the market, since I am not worried about leveling her crafting skills and could really use the money. (Not to mention the 600k-1.5mil I can get out of each one. Not a bad deal in my book, since I can get nice weapons from the IDs or just wait until Conquerer's...which is what I think I did with Harmony, once I discovered the IDs.) And I've been getting lots of things to sell, much to my disappointment. Not that I don't like the making money bit, but higher plus equipment would be nicer. Especially since alllmost all her mercs are in the 90s now. (Just got her Princess, Monk, and Viking to go. And her Cannoneer, but it'll be a while before he's all caught up, as I just got him a few days ago and he's working through the 60s.)

Also, I need a name for my Cannoneer. I've based her group's names on Avatar: The Last Airbender, if anyone knows the show. I'm thinking of naming him 'Bumi' just cause of his....out there nature. And he really doesn't fit any of the gAang or the Fire Nation kids.

But anyway, just an update. I hope to start updating this journal every few days or so with what's going on, so keep an eye out! :)
