It's been a while

So, I played a bit yesterday! Haven't really been on much because of personal issues and making plans to go back to school. I've mostly just been checking in daily and doing a few things in my diary for the day.

Harmony has been working on her instrument craft skill, and is right now working on a batch of 15 Conqueror's Instruments. Though I've been making sure to do analysis every day, and am mostly certain that I can level it up to be able to make Freezing already. I'm going to wait until this batch is done before I go and level it.

Speaking of Harmony, I'm getting bad about draining her account. I'm starting to go into the redzone. (Went past my comfortable benchmark of 500mil several weeks ago.) Since I haven't been playing her much at all, I haven't been replenishing what I take out of her account. Clearly the simple solution is to start playing her again, but that takes effort, and I'm wanting to focus on Lyric.

Lyric is now about halfway through Yggdrasil quests, and about 50%ish to level 99. Getting close! I think I will pull Harmony out of retirement once Lyric hits 100, so that she can help her with the upgrade quest. (I remember how hard it was with Harmony, though I didn't have near as good equips as I have had with Lyric all the way up, so, she may not have as hard a time with it. I'll just have to see.

I did ID98 for the first time with Lyric yesterday. Aaand I can definitely say that soloing in there with her would be a very bad idea. I teamed up with Gilberto though, and he sliced and diced them easy. (Although one hit with their aoe knocked my whole group (minus myself) down to half life. If two of them had done it in the same round...yeah, I'd be the only one standing. D:) But I now have my first decent ring! Haha, I know, I'm cheap. I haaaate worrying about rings. They're so darned expensive! I've told myself I wouldn't worry about getting good rings until ID98 and level 100--since that's when they really start to matter anyway.

Got my first quest to go fight Loki yesterday. I didn't know you got it so early! I remember trying that guy on Harmony and getting my rear handed to me, even when I was past 100!! I had to get help every time I had to fight that thing. Though, to be fair, Harmony's might was considerably LOW when she was around this level and the early 100s, as she was my first run and I didn't have any leftover equips/high crafting levels to make her really good things. Lyric is definitely benefiting from all Harmony's hard work. I may go try Loki, just to see if she could make it (though I don't personally think she can right now), but...I dunno. We'll see, I guess. (Though before 100 may be best, since I have a whole stock of life potion IIIs and no IVs as of yet.) Hmm.

VNAlliance left the nation yesterday. I don't know the details as to why, since I haven't been around much, but several people said that they're merging with Ragnarok and then rejoining. Which I have huge issues with. I don't like Ragnarok's leader, and I'd really rather not be in a nation with him. Unless it's changed hands since I last knew (or if I am thinking of the wrong guild, but I'm mostly certain I had a reason not to like that guild.)

Anyway, I think that's enough babbling for now. Gonna play a bit today and see if I can get Lyric up to 99. Wish me luck!
